What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small values stored by a browser. Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage, pixels, and embedded third-party resources. This policy describes technologies used by the website, not general browser or provider behavior outside Weblytics Digital’s control.

Current browser storage

When you save or reject cookie preferences, the website writes weblytics_cookie_preferences_v1 to localStorage. It records necessary storage, optional-category choices, policy version and save time until withdrawn or removed in your browser. If storage is unavailable, the choice applies only to the current page view. Previously stored choices are not silently rewritten or upgraded to Analytics permission; an earlier policy version requires a fresh choice for the new analytics use.

Strictly necessary preference storage

The localStorage entry is used to remember the choice made in Cookie Settings and apply the preference consistently. The settings interface allows you to save or reject optional preferences and withdraw the saved choice. Withdrawing removes this entry; you can also remove it through your browser’s site-data controls.

Optional categories

Analytics is optional and off by default. Google Analytics 4 loads only after you explicitly allow Analytics using Accept All or save an enabled Analytics choice. Reject Optional keeps it off. No Google analytics script, measurement request or analytics cookie is initiated before this permission. Functional and Marketing categories remain inactive. Continuing to browse is not consent.

Google Analytics 4 cookies and data

Google Analytics 4 is provided by Google and measures public page views and selected interactions: starting a project, starting the booking wizard, selecting a service or time, and a backend-confirmed booking. Only allowlisted service categories and meeting formats are included as custom properties. Page queries, fragments and referrers are excluded, as are contact information, company names, project descriptions, booking references and Meet links. Google may also process ordinary connection, browser/device and cookie-identifier information. After consent, first-party _ga and _ga_59CKP75C1W cookies may distinguish visits and sessions; this implementation configures an expiry of 180 days, subject to browser limits and Google’s cookie behavior. Google signals, ad personalization and advertising storage consent are disabled. See Google’s privacy information and how Google uses information from sites using its services.

Booking conversion deduplication

Only after Analytics consent and a verified booking confirmation, weblytics_analytics_confirmed_v1 in sessionStorage keeps one-way digests of confirmed booking references to avoid counting the same booking twice in this tab session. No raw reference, contact information or meeting details are stored there, and the digests are never sent to Google. This inert record remains until the tab session ends, including after withdrawal; no new analytics entries or events are processed while consent is off. If sessionStorage is blocked, the optional confirmation event is omitted. Refreshing a confirmation does not itself send a conversion.

Third-party resources and services

The site requests the Manrope typeface from Google Fonts. That request connects the visitor’s browser to Google and may disclose ordinary connection information such as IP address and request metadata; the font request alone does not mean this application sets a cookie. When the booking integrations are configured and available, the server-side booking service uses Google Calendar, Google Sheets, and Resend. Vercel hosts the site and API functions. These server-side services are not optional browser trackers controlled by Cookie Settings. Their technical logs and storage are governed by the relevant provider configuration and terms.

Managing preferences

Use Cookie Settings in the footer or Manage Cookie Preferences on this page. Unsaved toggle changes do not activate tracking. Save Preferences stores and applies the current choice; Reject Optional saves optional categories as off. Withdraw optional choices removes the saved preference entry. Rejecting, disabling or withdrawing Analytics stops future collection and expires accessible _ga cookies on this host and its parent domains. It cannot retract data already sent while permission was active. Strictly necessary site functions and booking remain available.

Changes and contact

We will review this inventory when browser storage, optional tracking, external resources, or embedded services change. Questions about this policy can be sent to weblyticsdigitalkenya@gmail.com.

Manage Cookie Preferences

Google Analytics 4 is optional and stays off until you allow Analytics. You can reject it or withdraw permission at any time; necessary site functions remain active. Optional functional and marketing technologies are not currently used.
